What is the fascination of travelling?
Is it relaxing and unwinding on a fine white sandy beach,
escaping the humdrum of everyday life and following your heart´s desire, getting to know different civilizations and old traditions, being touched by wonderful landscapes, majestic mountain tops or breath taking sunsets, promenading through the traces of the past or is it more the backpedaling, being with oneself and taking a sweet time-out.
Well – mostly it is a potpourri of all, a pure enjoyement, an intense experience, a feast for all senses. |

But travelling also means waiting for hours at different airports, crowded public transportation, loss of luggage, the pretended idyllic hotel is a construction site, food a desaster and the prices on the spot a rip-off.
The longed-for holiday mutates very fast to a nightmare and we return totally enervated to daily life from the best time of the year.
